C.O.R.E. 3.0™ was developed to reflect how healthcare professionals actually think, prioritize, act, and adapt in complex clinical environments. Originally created as an evolution of the ADPIE nursing process, the architecture of C.O.R.E. 3.0™ also has broader relevance across multiple healthcare disciplines. In nursing, it evolves the logic of the nursing process into a more contextual, organized, justified, and evolutive framework for clinical nursing excellence.
Developed through the work of Cristina Privat and supported by the vision of the International Nursing Alliance (INA), C.O.R.E. 3.0 offers a practical and globally adaptable structure for strengthening nursing judgment in real-world settings.
Why C.O.R.E. 3.0™ Was Developed
Traditional nursing models such as the nursing process remain important foundations of the profession. However, modern healthcare environments require a more dynamic and context-sensitive approach.
In real practice, nursing is not purely linear. Nurses must often reassess, re-prioritize, intervene, reflect, and adapt in continuous cycles. They must respond not only to symptoms, but also to environmental risks, psychosocial realities, institutional contexts, and legal scope-of-practice requirements.
